Hi there! I want to make sure I'm completely upfront with you about everything when it comes to using The Song Structure Vault.

Disclaimer (What it does and doesn't do.)

The Song Structures Vault is a personally researched library of song structure formats and templates (designed as a Web App), and only available to paid subscribers.

Each song's layout is from my unique analysis of the song. It's not to be considered and doesn't claim to be an official analysis from song's owner or singer.
Using this resource doesn't guarantee you'll write better songs, it's simply meant to help you master the process of structuring your songs.
I will continue to grow its collection of song structures, covering as many genres as possible...and your financial support helps me to continue to do that.
And if you catch a few errors or typos please use the feedback/bug report form and let me know.

Terms & Condition (What you agree to do and not to do.)

The Song Structures Vault was created for you to quickly study popular song formats and templates to help you learn how to write hit songs. Access to the vault is through paid subscription. So by using the vault you agree to the following:

You agree to pay a subscription fee to gain access to The Song Structure Vault.
If you subscribed during a trial period and haven't canceled before trial period has ended, you agree to pay regular subscription fee to gain access to The Song Structure Vault.
You agree not to circumvent any means of paying for the Song Structure Vault to gain unauthorized access.
You agree to keep your login details private.
You agree not to tamper with, duplicate, reverse engineer or "hack" any code used in this web app in any way (it was a pain to code, so please don't make my work any harder than it already is).

Cancellation of Membership

Cancel and continue to use until your subscription expires.

If you feel you've learned all there is to learn and would like to cancel at any time, simply follow these instructions. The Song Structures Vault will send you an automatic confirmation of the cancellation and you'll have continued access for the rest of your billing cycle.

IMPORTANT (To Song Structure Training Group Members): Cancelling from the Song Structure Vault does not unsubscribe you from my Song Structure Training Group. If you would also like to unsubscribe from the my training then follow the link at the bottom any of those emails.

Privacy Policy (What I, Joshua May, agree to do and not to do.)

"Song Structure Selections" Emails:

If you choose, you are able to email any song structure examples you like, to any email address you want using the app's built-in form. Currently this form is powered by WuFoo so none of the email addresses you enter are stored by the Song Structure Vault, but a record is temporarily stored at WuFoo until deleted.

I will not sell, share or in any way solicit any email address you provide through this form.
All temporary email entries will be deleted from WuFoo.

"Feedback/Bug Report" Emails:

Your contact info is added to my private email list on MailChimp.

I will not sell your contact information to anyone. I won't share your contact information with anyone except if ordered by law enforcement.
I will not spam you with unwanted emails. The only emails I'll send will either be replies to feedback/bug reports you send to me or emails related to important updates.
You can opt-out of this list at any time by following the "unsubscribe" instructions at the bottom of each email (this does not unsubscribe you from my training group).

"Subscription" Emails:

You will get an auto-generated email from the Song Structures Vault when you start your paid subscription or if your subscription status changes (i.e. "pending", "payment lapsed", "cancellation", "end of term", etc.). You will never receive any other email from Song Structures Vault unless it's directly related to your paid subscription.

You will also get an auto-generated email from PayPal when you sign up or if your subscription status changes. Use Paypal's emails as confirmation of your subscription status.

Subscriber Financial Information:

PayPal handles all payment processing for paid subscriptions - and also issues all unique Subscription IDs/Profile IDs - on their 128-bit encrypted SSL (https://) server (click the green "lock" near their address bar on your browser to confirm). You're redirected to their secure site for your transaction so it's impossible for me or anyone else to see your financial information.

This site is also protected by SSL encryption (https://) to secure your login information passed between PayPal, this website and your browser. Click the green "lock" near the address bar on your browser to confirm. Comodo's protection carries a $10,000 warranty to further protect your paid subscription. I promise to maintain this level of data protection whatever the cost.

Website Visitor Information:

Children - Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), I will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.

Usage tracking - Song Structures Vault anonymously tracks visitor traffic throughout visits through my app's pages. However, I will never use this information with any other information to personally identify you. I use tracking information to determine which parts of the Song Structure Vault you may have trouble with. This helps me continue improving my web app.

Cookies - Through the app, Google places a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer or mobile device. Google's use of their Analytics cookies enable them to better understand visits and usage stats of this web app, your Interests, and general Demographics data. These tracking cookies are created and powered by JavaScript, along with the basic functions of the vault's filter.

Opt-out Policy - You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser's options. If you've set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this vault...however you DO need JavaScript enabled. So if you do not agree to enable JavaScript you should not subscribe.

Your Consent - By using this website, you consent to the collection and use of the information I detailed above.

If I change my privacy policy, I will post the changes on this page so you're always aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under what circumstances I disclose it.
